Let’s cook together

What’s to expect

Get ready for a casual night of fun cooking and fine dining. This is simply-prepared, delicious, fresh food with a few tricks of the trade that make it extra special. When you arrive we’ll prepare a quick bite to put a little something in your stomach while we start the dinner preparations. You are welcome to participate in the evening hands-on, or with a drink in your hand (or both!). Whether an avid cook, or a passionate diner, I promise you a wonderful time!

Challenge by choice

Safety comes first in cooking. Throughout the evening we’ll review basic knife skills and safe handling of the ingredients. You will have the opportunity to get your hands “dirty,” including working with a chef’s knife. If that feels threatening you are certainly not alone. I believe in challenge by choice. Do what you are comfortable with, take some careful risks if you would like to. Please know your limits and be responsible for your own safety.

Forewarned, forearmed

Trips to the hospital can really dampen the mood of an otherwise lovely evening. Please let me know about any food allergies or strong dislikes by filling out this form (it’s okay if you don’t like broccoli, I understand). I can’t accommodate every need with every dish, but I’ll make sure there is plenty to eat!

My lawyer (and the USDA) want you to know that the consumption of raw or undercooked eggs, meat, poultry, seafood or shellfish may increase your risk of food borne illness. While I strive to source the best quality food products, I cannot fully eliminate the risk of food based illness.
